Refer to an AktivA therapist and osteoarthritis school

Patients who wish to take part in the osteoarthritis school and/or receive follow-up from an AktivA physiotherapist do not need a referral and can contact an AktivA clinic directly. A discharge summary can advantageously be sent with the patient or electronically via the Norwegian Health Network (NHN), which is used by several providers. You can find your nearest AktivA clinic here.

Refer to a clinical dietitian

Publicly offered dietary guidance is currently very limited. However, there are several clinical nutritionists working privately who provide dietary consultations both in person and online. Patients wishing to receive follow-up from a clinical nutritionist do not need a referral and can make direct contact themselves. Private clinical nutritionists may also choose to use the Norwegian Health Network (NHN), and referrals can then be sent via NHN.
